This is not happening...

As Dana Scully would say, "This is not happening". In fact, this CANNOT be happening...

Aug. 20-27, 2007 issue - In one of history's more absurd acts of totalitarianism, China has banned Buddhist monks in Tibet from reincarnating without government permission.

(The entire news deserves to be read. Check in Newsweek).

Seem too absurd??? Welllllll.... one never knows what the future may bring, also in South American countries, with some South American "enlightened" governments... Better be alert, always... And let's start a campaign for the free reincarnation of Tibetan monks...

In time: the theory of the reincarnated Lamas (bodhisattvas) is that the soul of a dead Lama passes to a new boy. More on this topic here.

A China parece ter criado uma categoria própria de surrealismo.
Já que as reencarnações não podem acontecer sem a autorização do governo, eu pergunto: o que deve fazer uma "alma" antes de reencarnar? Protocolar um pedido junto ao setor de controle da reencarnação de monges budistas???
