Homeward bound...

Hoooooomeward boooound, I wish I was...

Let's sing along...

I'm sitting in the railway station.
Got a ticket for my destination.
On a tour of one-night stands my suitcase and guitar in hand.
And ev'ry stop is neatly planned for a poet and a one-man band.
Homeward bound,
I wish I was,
Homeward bound,
Home where my thought's escaping,
Home where my music's playing,
Home where my love lies waiting
Silently for me.
Ev'ry day's an endless stream
Of cigarettes and magazines.
And each town looks the same to me, the movies and the factories
And ev'ry stranger's face I see reminds me that I long to be,
Homeward bound,
I wish I was,
Homeward bound,
Home where my thought's escaping,
Home where my music's playing,
Home where my love lies waiting
Silently for me.

Tonight I'll sing my songs again,
I'll play the game and pretend.
But all my words come back to me in shades of mediocrity
Like emptiness in harmony I need someone to comfort me.
Homeward bound,
I wish I was,
Homeward bound,
Home where my thought's escaping,
Home where my music's playing,
Home where my love lies waiting
Silently for me.
Silently for me.
(Paul Simon)

But I AM homeward bound! Tomorrow I will be flying home with Diva Flower. In the afternoon we will be in Manguinhos, our favorite beach, just North of Vitória. We will be there for the Holliday Season and for our vacations in January. And, great news, my daughter will also come from João Pessoa and join us all there. Guess we all deserve some peaceful days together!

As
Robert Frost once said, "Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in". True, so very true... But we are sure our mother and our sister Diva Coca will be more than happy to take us in, rsrsrs...

:-)

UHUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!

From now on, until the end of January, we'll be posting from Manguinhos.
